TRANSFER POLICY
- INTRODUCTION

- Temporary Transfers. Employees can be temporarily transferred to another location or department for a specific period or project, subject to the business needs and the employee's willingness.
- Permanent Transfers. Employees can be permanently transferred to another location or department, subject to the availability of suitable vacancies and the employee's willingness.
- Voluntary Transfers. Employees can initiate a transfer request based on their personal and professional development goals, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria and availability of suitable vacancies.
- Involuntary Transfers - employees may be required to transfer to another location or department due to organizational restructuring, business needs, or performance issues.
- PROCESS
- Employees interested in transferring to another location or department should submit a transfer request to their manager or HR, indicating the reason for the transfer and the preferred location or department.
- The manager or HR will evaluate the request based on the eligibility criteria, the availability of suitable vacancies, and the business needs. They will inform the employee of the outcome within a reasonable time frame.
- If the transfer request is approved, the employee will be provided with the necessary information about the new role, compensation and benefits, and other relevant details. They will also receive a new job offer letter and an updated employment contract.
- If the transfer request is denied, the employee will be given the reason for the denial and offered feedback on how to improve their chances in the future.
- Communication regarding the transfer process will be conducted through the company's designated channels, such as email, intranet, or HR portal.
- COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT
- The compensation and benefits package for the new role will be determined based on the pay grade and the employee's experience and qualifications.
- If the transfer results in a higher pay grade or position, the employee will receive a salary increase in accordance with the company's policies and guidelines.
- If the transfer results in a lower pay grade or position, the employee's salary will be adjusted accordingly.
