UNIFORM POLICY
- INTRODUCTION

- PURPOSE

Our company aims to provide its employees with comfortable and professional uniforms that project a good image and comply with our regulations and guidelines.
- POLICY
- Employees engaged in tasks involving customers and alliance partners are required to wear company-designated uniforms at all times while working and representing [INSERT THE NAME OF THE COMPANY].
- Each new employee will receive three uniforms upon hire. Employees are required to sign for the uniforms, and the uniforms are considered company property and are to be returned in the event of termination of employment or anytime on demand.
- Employees should always be dressed neatly and appropriately for the type of work they perform. Current uniforms must always be worn when on duty and should be kept well maintained. All aspects of the uniform must be worn.
- All employees are required to wear the company-issued uniform during working hours. This includes any logo shirts, jackets, pants, or other clothing items that have been provided. - MAINTENANCE OF UNIFORM
- Employees are responsible for ensuring that their uniform is clean and in good condition. Uniforms should be washed and ironed as necessary to maintain a professional appearance. Employees who present themselves in a dirty or unkempt uniform may be subject to disciplinary action.
- In the event a uniform needs repair or replacement, employees will be required to return the uniform in exchange for a replacement. While normal wear and tear is expected, excessive damage or loss of company uniforms may result in disciplinary action.
- OTHER GUIDELINES
- The company-issued uniform is intended for use only during working hours. Employees are not permitted to wear the uniform outside of work or while traveling to and from work.
- Employees are expected to present a professional image while wearing the uniform. Personal items, such as jewelry, watches, or other accessories, should be kept to a minimum and should not interfere with the uniform.
- Jewelry should be discrete and professional in appearance. Ear piercings are acceptable, provided the jewelry is of a conservative and professional nature, such as studs and sleepers, no long or protruding jewelry.
- Tattoos, that could be perceived to be offensive, should be discreetly covered (e.g. tattoos of naked men/women, skulls or daggers dripping blood, etc.)
- Hair should be worn in a neat and tidy fashion.
- Employees are not permitted to make any alterations to the uniform, such as adding patches or altering the fit of the clothing. Any requests for modifications based on religious or medical needs should be made to the HR department for approval.
- Employees are responsible for the cost of replacing any lost or damaged uniform items. Replacement costs may be deducted from the employee's paycheck.
- The Company may issue new uniforms periodically or require uniforms to be returned for special purposes (e.g., logo change, corporate color change). Employees will be given notice of the exchange, and the company will provide suitable replacement uniforms.
- EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITY
- Employees shall be responsible to:
- Treat the uniform with care
- Wear the uniform at all times during work hours
- Sign Receipt Acknowledgement Form
- Ensure that the uniform is kept clean and presentable at all times. Shirts should always be neat and ironed
- Ensure the uniform is replaced if it becomes faded, ripped or torn
- Ensure name and logo (via badge or embroidery) on garment is clearly displayed and not covered by other clothing or items.
- RETURN
- Employees are required to return all issued uniforms upon termination of employment. If all issued uniforms are not returned, [INSERT COMPANY’S NAME] will deduct the cost of the uniforms from the employee's final paycheck.
- UPDATES
