PHONE POLICY

- SCOPE
- This policy applies to all employees, or any individual who are provided with company-owned cell phones within the Company. In circumstances where an employee’s conduct may involve a breach of this policy. The Company might take disciplinary or termination actions based upon the set guidelines in this policy.
- USAGE GUIDELINES
- Employees are expected to use the Company-owned phones as per the following set guidelines by the company:
- The Company shall provide a business phone to employees only for work related communications. The Company issued business phone shall be deemed the exclusive property of the Company, and any data shared or transmitted through it shall likewise be considered the sole property of the Company.
- Employees should avoid using personal phones and calls during work hours to minimize distractions and to ensure maximum productivity at work. Personal phones should not interfere with job responsibilities.
- Employees are expected to protect the Company-owned phones from loss, theft and damage. Upon resignation or termination of employment, or at any time on request, the employee may be asked to produce the phone for return or inspection.
- Employees should use phones only for company related work; excessive usage of data for personal use such as using social media, installing games applications etc. is strictly prohibited.
- Companies will not be responsible for loss of personal phones or any other personal electronic device brought to work.
- Employees must take reasonable measures to safeguard sensitive or confidential data stored in Company owned phones.
- SECURITY
- Company-owned cell phones must be protected with unique passwords to prevent any unauthorized access. Employees are expected to report in case the phone is lost or stolen.
- Employees should not install unauthorized apps or modify the phone settings without approval.
- The company reserves the right to monitor phone usage and review call and text logs, as well as any content stored on the device, for security and compliance purposes.
- MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
- Employees are responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the phones. The company is not responsible for damage to personal phones or loss of personal phones while on company property. Employees are expected to report any maintenance or repair needs for company provided phones to the human resources department.
- RETURN OF PHONE
- Upon termination of employment, the employee is required to return the company-owned, along with any accompanying accessories and data stored on the phone to the Company.
- COMPLIANCE
- Failure to comply with this policy or improper use of company owned phones may result in disciplinary action or termination.
- CHANGES TO THE POLICY
- We reserve the right to update and make changes to this policy from time to time based on the working conditions of the Company. The Company on updating this policy will inform the Employees of the Company.
