BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE POLICY

- PURPOSE
- The Purpose of this policy is to facilitate employee flexibility and productivity by allowing the use of personal electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones and laptops, for work-related tasks while maintaining a secure and productive environment. We encourage our employees to familiarize with the guidelines outlined in this policy and to seek guidance when facing ethical dilemmas. This policy outlines responsible use of personal resources including but not limited to systems, internet access, and any other technology-related access.
- SCOPE
- This policy applies to all employees, independent contractors including full-time, part-time, temporary, working at all levels within the Company. In circumstances where an employee’s conduct may involve a breach of this policy. The Company might take disciplinary or termination actions based upon the set guidelines in this policy.
- EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Employee must comply with all applicable laws and use resources or any other electronic devices for business purposes only.
- Employees should promptly report any loss or theft of the personal device containing Company’s data to the IT Department.
- Employee must take reasonable measures to safeguard Company’s sensitive or confidential data stored in personal electronic devices.
- Employees are prohibited from installing unauthorized software or any content on their personal device that may cause harm to company sensitive information.
- DATA SECURITY AND NETWORK ACTIVITIES
- Employees are prohibited from sharing Company’s confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information on any online platforms.
- The Employees should use Company’s online platform or resources in a proficient manner, ensuring that their online activities do not interfere with their job responsibilities or harm the Company’s reputation, or violate any relevant laws and regulations.
- Employees should safeguard the privacy of user data and ensure compliance with relevant privacy laws and regulations.
- Company data on personal devices is subject to high protection standards. Mandatory password protection, biometric authentication and regular backups of work-related data is required, on all personal electronic devices is necessary to avoid unauthorized access.
- Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination, depending on the severity and frequency of the offense.
- SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE
- Our Company will provide basic technical support such as regular maintenance and repairs. Employees should report any security threats and incidents to the IT Department.
- Our Company will Install mobile device management software (MDM) and monitoring software (RMM) (including anti-virus/anti-malware programs where applicable) on employees’ personal devices. This software will allow authorized IT staff to access, manage, monitor and remotely delete all company-related information, including calendars, e-mails and other applications. This is particularly important when a device is lost, stolen or decommissioned from service.
- UNACCEPTABLE USE
- The following activities are strictly prohibited, with no exceptions;
- Malicious software installation or distribution in personal electronic devices,
- Hacking, unauthorized attempts to access systems, or any form of cyber-crime,
- Unauthorized access of confidential data through company devices such as computer systems or laptops,
- Sending messages with deceptive subject lines, false headers, or misleading content is not allowed.
- Gathering email addresses or contact information through automated means, such as scraping websites or using software, for the purpose of sending unsolicited communications is prohibited.
- TERMINATION
- Our Company may prohibit an employee from using personal device for Company related purposes if they are found violating this Policy.
- CONFIDENTIALITY, INFORMATION SECURITY, PROPRIETARY INFORMATION AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- We are committed to business information confidentiality, integrity and accessibility, we implement proper technical security measures this and it is our staff’s obligation to uphold this. Proprietary information includes all non-public information that might be harmful to the company or its customers, business partners if disclosed to unauthorized parties. All Employees must handle any such information as secret. It also covers that, no one is entitled to trade with securities while in possession of non-public information or deliver non-public information to others that could have impact on the securities.
- Employees must maintain the confidentiality of the company and client information. Sharing sensitive information with unauthorized individuals is strictly prohibited.
- COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAWS REGULATIONS
- Employees working within the Company must adhere to the required applicable laws and regulations. The employee must comply with company’s policies and procedures with respect and dignity. Employees must stay informed about the laws relevant to their roles and responsibilities and ensure that their actions and decisions align with legal standards of the Company.

- We reserve the right to update and make changes to this policy from time to time based on the working conditions of the Company. The Company on updating this policy will inform the Employees of the Company.
